2. Cookies & Analytics. Our website uses essential cookies for site security and analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns and improve the homeowner experience. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser. We use U.S.-based analytics vendors under data processing agreements.

3. Marketing Communications. With your consent, we may send home improvement tips, promotions, and appointment reminders via email and SMS. Opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link or reply STOP. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of purchase.

4. Third-Party Services. We share limited information with licensed subcontractors, material suppliers, payment processors, scheduling platforms, and city permit agencies solely to deliver the services you request, process payments, or comply with building code requirements.

5. Customer Rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to contract, warranty, and legal record retention obligations under U.S. state contractor laws. Contact privacy@buildyourhomeright.info.

6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, opt-out of sale/share, and limit use of sensitive personal information. 1. Service Agreements. All home improvement work is performed under a written Home Improvement Contract that complies with applicable U.S. state contractor laws. Scope, materials, pricing, and schedule are specified in your proposal. Any changes require a written change order signed by both parties.

2. Estimates. Free estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing is confirmed in the executed contract. Material price increases exceeding 5% may be addressed via written change order with supplier documentation.

3. Scheduling & Permits. Project start dates are estimates and may adjust due to permit approval timelines, material lead times, weather, or concealed conditions. Build Your Home Right obtains required building permits and schedules inspections with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

4. Payments. Progress payments follow your contract milestone schedule and applicable state home improvement law. We accept ACH, check, and major credit cards. Mechanics lien notices may be provided where required by state law and are released upon final payment.

5. Warranties. Build Your Home Right provides a 24-month limited craftsmanship warranty covering labor and installation defects under normal residential use. Manufacturer product warranties apply separately and are transferred to the homeowner at project closeout. Warranty excludes normal wear, misuse, or acts of God.

6. Liability Limitations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build Your Home Right ’s total liability shall not exceed the total contract price paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Homeowners maintain active homeowners insurance during construction.

7. Intellectual Property. Design drawings, renderings, and plan sets prepared by Build Your Home Right remain our property until final payment is received, at which point a limited license for construction of the specified project is granted.

8. User Responsibilities. Homeowners provide jobsite access, disclose known hazardous materials (asbestos, lead paint, etc.), secure pets/valuables, and obtain any required HOA approvals. Hazardous material remediation is outside standard scope unless explicitly contracted.

9. Governing Law. Contracts are governed by the laws of the State of USA and the state where the work is performed for consumer protection and licensing purposes. Disputes shall first be submitted to mediation in USA, then binding arbitration under AAA Construction Industry Rules if unresolved.
